By now, I’m sure you know my feelings towards Target are this: can’t stop, won’t stop! But when it comes to home decor finds, I think you will agree with me. Target is seriously stepping up their home decor lines, and I want it all. There are so many wonderful decor finds from Target, and they keep coming out with more. Your guests will never guess where they are from!
Let’s review how Target is totally killing it with home decor. Last fall, they launched the Hearth and Hand line, which is an exclusive Target line curated by the talented Joanna Gaines. Hearth and Hand carries some beautiful pieces that are classic and timeless, like this glass jug vase:
Psst! No time to read the full post? No problem. Pin it to your home decor board and come back later.
Or this beautiful candle centerpiece that flows effortlessly from season to season.
Then Target launched Project 62, another exclusive line that’s all about the modern vibe. One of my favorite pieces from Project 62 is this chair with wooden arms and grey fabric.
Project 62 has a fabulous collection of throw pillows.
But beyond pillows. Project 62 features some really nifty abstract art.
I also love the pop of color that this palm leaf print provides. I love it so much, we purchased it for our mantle! Check out how we styled it, and read about adding built ins around our fireplace here.
And THEN most recently: Opal House! Excuse me while I do jazz hands again as I announce: Opal House!!! If you love the style of Anthropologie and World Market, then you will love Opal House!
Let’s just start with the removable wallpaper. This is one of 15 prints you can choose from, and it is definitely one of the more bold choices. My taste is usually pretty toned-down, but I kind of love this room design:
Pro tip: before you tackle removable wallpaper, I recommend reading my friend Alice’s experience right here. Then, go over to Food 52 and read about the endless ways to use wallpaper everywhere except your walls.
But removable wallpaper isn’t all. Opal House has some incredible furniture too, like this side table set that I REALLY love in the natural tone. Here it is in black – click the link to see it in natural.
Opal House collection has some really interesting garden and patio items, like this wood textured planter (in three sizes).
But let’s not forget about Target’s first decor line, Threshold. Threshold is full of some lovely basics, like a simple wire basket OR this rug paired with gallery wall frames.
In fact, if you head to Target’s decor inspo page, you will find videos, 360 degree room views and all kinds of fabulous inspiration. You can watch how to assemble a gallery wall or decorate picture ledges. They even let you click on your design style and shop. You’ll be able to narrow it down quickly too, because they break it all out from Scandinavian to vintage to shabby chic.
You can also search by room, so don’t worry if your style is more eclectic like mine.
Let’s revisit rugs for a minute. One of my favorite sneaky tricks is to buy an outdoor area rug from Target, and put a super nice, plush rug under it. We own this blue area rug pictured below (but in a bit larger size which is currently sold out). I love the price, style, durability…EVERYTHING there is to love about a rug.
I love that I can literally hose this rug off outside. I also love that it’s comfortable under our feet, thanks to our plush rug pad (you can find it here). We own three of the plush felt rug pads. When you live in a home that is 95% wood floors (like ours), the right rug pad makes ALL the difference. We get asked a lot if the rugs slip with a thick, felt rug pad. The answer is no. We tend to anchor part of the rug under a leg or two of furniture. But even without doing this, we haven’t had issues with slipping. Side note: if you do have wood floors, it is definitely worth investing in a rug pad that protects your wood floors.
My picks are just the tip of the ice berg for Target’s home decor. Be sure to check out Target’s home decor inspo page when you have about 50 hours free. Just kidding. You can just do what I do and visit their inspo page in small chunks of time…2,000 times 🙂 After you visit, I’d love to know: what is your style? Leave me a comment below!

I think my favorite would have to be the Hearth and Hand line but their all beautiful!
My favorite is the Project 62 armchair with grey fabric. I NEED to find a spot in my house for that beauty. Great list. It was a fun read.
Yes! And let’s be honest, I want at least two of those chairs because two is always better than one 😆
